Frequently Asked Questions
What is breathwork?
A guided, active meditation technique which uses your breath to bypass the mind and drop fully into the timeliness, divine intelligence of your emotional body, your nervous system, and your spirit.
This guided technique supports you in safely processing and releasing fears, blocks, trauma, suppressed emotions from your body and allows you to deeply connect with your heart, your intuition, your Highest Self, and with all of creation.
Who can benefit from breathwork?
I genuinely believe everyone can benefit from this incredible practice. This is especially potent for those on the self healing journey and desiring to assist their bodies with depression, anxiety, fears, or other stuck emotions.
I specialize in holding space for and working with POC, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, entrepreneurs, creatives, students, and other highly-sensitive individuals.
I operate from a trauma-informed perspective with respect for the nuances and differences in the lived experiences marginalized community members face.
What happens during a breathwork session?
We will discuss what is showing up in your life that you want to work on, what you want to release and what you would like to call in to your energetic space. We will then move on to the healing session, where you will lie down to breath and I will intuitively guide you through the breathing practice, incorporating music and my voice on the journey. Afterwards you will have time to ask questions and share about your experience.
Every session is different; one may experience physical tingling, euphoria, emotional release, tears, yelling, powerful energetic movement, profound peace, and os much more. It is a journey back to yourself and can feel a bit like time travel.
